What do Helpers do?
| Role | Typical tasks |
|---|---|
| Front Desk & Registration | Welcome guests, hand out badges, answer questions |
| Stage Management | Keep talks on time, cue speakers, handle Q&A microphones |
| Help Desk | Help people around the conference |
| Build-Up / Tear-Down | Assemble / dismantle signage, furniture & tech |
Time commitment
A minimum of 8 volunteer hours (e.g. two 4-hour shifts) earns you a full conference pass.

- Free access to all talks & workshops when not on shift
- Name listed on the Helper Site on-site & online
- A tree planted in your name via our re-forestation partner
Do I need prior experience?
No. Enthusiasm and reliability are enough – we train you on everything else.
Can I volunteer and give a talk?
Absolutely. Just make sure your shifts don’t overlap your session.
Are travel or accommodation covered?
We can’t cover costs.
