Prof. Dr. Henning Klaffke has been Professor of Applied Computer Science at Beruflichen Hochschule Hamburg since August 2021.
From 2005 to 2021, he taught and conducted research at the Institute for Technical Education and University Didactics in the field of subject-specific teacher training for vocational schools specializing in media technology and electrical engineering/information technology. In 2014, he earned his doctorate in political science with a thesis entitled “Quality of Professional Standards.” He completed his studies in 2004 with the first state examination for teaching at vocational schools in the fields of wood and plastics technology and computer science. In 1999, he completed his vocational training as a cabinetmaker with honors.
In the years following his doctorate, Mr. Klaffke led many research projects in the field of digitization and vocational education and authored numerous publications in this area.
